BIOGRAPHY

Danyl Cook grew up in rural western New York and received his bachelor's degree from the State University of New York College at Buffalo where he studied drawing and painting. Danyl spent many years as a professional photographer and writer and was a Peace Corps volunteer in the Dominican Republic. He has served as docent for the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Buffalo, and also as chair of the New York State Council on the Arts Regional Decentralization Committee. Danyl draws in Denver where he has lived since 1994. He is currently working on a Masters Degree in Drawing at Regis University.
